The tertiary Education Gateways Building (EDGY) is part of the second phase of development for the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) and accommodates a further 350 full-time tertiary students.

Designed to integrate and connect with both the developing infrastructure and existing buildings, EDGY supports innovative and digitally-connected learning environments, including simulated learning and research spaces, enabling new offerings in education, allied health and nursing, film and television, engineering and construction. Awarded a Six Star Green Star for its innovative design solution, the EDGY Building design focuses on key aspects: the establishment of a strong urban edge, visual connection of internal and external elements and innovation.
