Belmont Shooting Range

The Shooting Centre, located at Belmont, hosted the shooting competition during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The redevelopment of the centre is to re-establish the facility as an effective shooting competition and training venue that provides lasting legacy infrastructure for the community and surrounding region beyond the games.

The vision for the Legacy Project is to add significant and meaningful sport and recreation facilities for the greater metropolitan community, including shooting facilities of an international competition and training standard. Community engagement with the venue will also be facilitated to promote the sport of shooting and the clubs, while also affording flexibility for diverse uses and future growth.
