Manunda Place is a purpose-built mix-use facility consisting of a secure underground carpark, mix-use public interface and dedicated NTG agency offices, with the Department of Health as anchor tenant. MODE’s vision for this project was to integrate the unique location of this building, the Northern Territory, into the response to encourage renewed enthusiasm for Darwin’s commercial precinct. Timber joinery is used throughout to provide material warmth and separation of spaces. Strong moments of colour in the furniture reflect the natural scenery of the area, and are also seen in the window graphics developed by our Graphic Design team to assist with wayfinding.
