The client was intent on preserving the historical architecture and cultural integrity of the building, while ensuring future development to the site improves public access, both physically and visually. The proposed redevelopment features public occupation on the ground level and lettable tenancies on first level. The rear of the site is redeveloped to provide additional car, motorbike and bicycle parking and improved servicing with commercial tenancies above.
