  • Interior Designer Sydney

    An exciting opportunity exists for an Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the interior design industry to join the growing Interiors team of one of Australia’s largest and most well established multi-disciplinary design practices.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Reporting through to the National Interior Design Manager in Brisbane, this full time permanent position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work on a range of projects across a number of sectors, with like-minded professionals from various design disciplines. Key responsibilities include:

    • Prepare concept designs with senior designers for existing and potential new projects
    • Prepare space plans & schematic layouts to test new designs
    • Prepare design development presentations
    • Liaise with suppliers for product selection
    • Liaise with required sub-consultants during the project phases
    • Prepare tender documentation packages including drawings, schedules and specifications
    • Prepare construction documentation packages including drawings, schedules and specifications

    ABOUT YOU

    You are a talented, creative and passionate designer who is motivated to exceed client needs & expectations whilst looking to make a positive contribution to the output and culture of the workplace as a whole.     • Bachelor Degree in Interior Design/Architecture
    • Proficiency in Revit for production of documentation packages
    • Understanding of over-arching concepts to apply to all stages of a design

    • Development and presentation of design concepts
    • Production of presentation packages (InDesign preferred)

    In order to meet the current and projected needs of the business MODE Design Corp is seeking a Marketing/ Operations & Administration Officer for our busy Auckland Studio.

    This is a newly created position and will report to the Studio Director.  It is envisaged that the successful person will work Monday – Friday 20 hours per week.

    The successful candidate’s primary function will be to support the Auckland Studio and greater business with coordinating submissions, providing administrative business support, assist with billing and event coordination and other duties will include:

    • Download and disseminate tender documentation, then prepare submissions for review by senior staff
    • Ensure adequate stockpile of marketing collateral and resources are available
    • Updating the CRM with project information
    • Update CRM with project information
    • Assist the Studio in completing monthly QA audits and quarterly OHS audits
    • General office housekeeping
    • Development of other marketing and sales collateral and the coordination of local events and other business development as require

    ABOUT YOU

    Available for an immediate start, you will be team-orientated, proactive and display a strong work ethic with 3 + years in a similar position. The successful candidate will also bring:

You have developed superior design and documentation skills, construction knowledge and the ability to manage projects while working on large and small projects in the workplace, multi-residential and health sectors.
